This morning I captured a sunrise at Phantom Lake—quiet, still, and almost untouched. Even though this image has been enhanced with AI, the feeling is real. The calm water, the soft light breaking through the clouds, and the silence around the lake remind me how peaceful things can be when nothing is moving too fast.

 

Lately, it feels like the world itself is trying to find that same balance. News has been quieter, tensions seem a bit lower, and even the stock market has shown signs of recovery over the past few days. Whether that continues or not, no one really knows—but moments like this morning give a sense of stability.

 

We often get caught up in noise—markets, politics, uncertainty. But standing by a lake at sunrise, none of that feels immediate. It puts things into perspective.

 

I hope things continue to settle down. Not perfectly—but enough to feel normal again.
