This morning, a driver honked at me while I was passing a stopped school bus on a four-lane road with a center turning lane. The driver behind me had stopped, but I continued driving at a reduced speed without stopping.
In Washington State, on a multi-lane road (three or more lanes), vehicles traveling in the opposite direction of a stopped school bus are not required to stop. Drivers should slow down and proceed with caution.
I was following the law.
