Year-End & New Year’s Greetings
Today is New Year’s Eve in the United States, while in Japan, the New Year has already begun. Every year, I feel a sense of fascination and gratitude when I remember the time and calendar differences, despite us sharing the same planet. Being in a position to reflect on both the end and the beginning of a year simultaneously is something I truly value.
I’m expressing my sincere gratitude to everyone who’s supported us throughout the year. It’s been a year filled with new connections and valuable learning experiences through our work together. While the path wasn't always smooth, the challenges that forced us to pause and reflect were just as valuable as our successes. Each experience has become a vital stepping stone toward our next chapter.
As I continue to work in both the United States and Japan, I remember how essential trust and strong relationships are, even across distance and time zones. The trust we build across borders and the sincere words we exchange are what truly sustain us.
The holiday season is a precious time to step back from the daily bustle and reflect on our purpose. I’m taking this quiet time to consider what we should carry forward, what we can improve, and what new challenges we will embrace in the coming year.
