The Empty Table Principle — My Personal Challenge for 2026

Running PSPINC for nearly four decades has taught me many things, but one lesson keeps returning to me: the Empty Table Principle.
If a table is covered with dishes, papers, and clutter, no matter how good new the next dish is, you simply cannot place it. There is no space left. Businesses are exactly the same.

Over the years, PSPINC has accumulated its own clutter — old systems, unused services, routines that continue only because “we’ve always done it that way.” These things quietly take up space on our company’s table. And when new opportunities appear, we often realize that we don’t have the capacity to pick them up. Not because the opportunity isn't good, but because our table is already full.

To move forward, we must clear space. That means retiring outdated services, simplifying internal processes, and reevaluating priorities. Every time we clean the table, something interesting happens: new ideas appear, energy returns, and the next step becomes visible.
Decluttering is not just organization — it is preparation for the future.

And this principle applies not only to PSPINC, but also to me personally.

To be honest, I also have many things I need to clear from my own table. Old tasks I’ve held onto too long, responsibilities I should delegate, habits that no longer serve me, and projects I started but never finished. They all sit there, taking up space in my mind and my schedule.

So one of my biggest challenges for 2026 is this:
to empty my own table as well.
To let go of what no longer matters, to create room for new work, new ideas, and new growth—both for PSPINC and for myself.

Empty space is not a loss.
It is an invitation.
And 2026 will be the year I create that space.
