We are switching our telephone system to an IP-based system provided by Verizon. The switchover will take place next week, but each phone is already functioning as an IP phone with its own telephone number. For many of you, IP phones may not be new; this system has no PBX and is fully hosted by Verizon. It also integrates with our cell phones. This change will save us money and improve our communication capabilities. If you're interested in moving to IP phones to reduce costs, please call me—I can share what I know.
