Here’s a photo I took yesterday morning in Seattle, in front of Virginia Mason Hospital, where I had my monthly checkup after my kidney transplant. It was raining early on, but the sky cleared by about 11:00. When I left for the hospital around 7:30 a.m., the freeway into downtown Seattle was already heavy with traffic. The checkup went very well, so I’m very happy. This morning is Saturday at about 7:34 a.m. It isn’t raining now—just a few clouds—and the sky is brightening as the sun comes out.
