My daughter arrived in Japan and she is in the government paid quarantine at the hotel near the airport. Japanese government pays for the first three days of quarantine hotel and meals.

Which hotel you are asked t say is a crapshoot. My daughter was lucky to be staying at JAL Hotel at Kansai International Airport. Here is the picture of her room at the hotel. She does not have to pay anything for it.
