Where did the summer go?

I left Seattle on September 30 to Japan and came back on the 13th. When I left, we were experiencing unusually warm weather, but when I came back, it is all wet and dark. Everybody tells me the weather was great until I came back.
I guess I will not be playing golf this weekend. I took this picture with my cellular phone today from the Columbia tower in Seattle.
